Senior Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview As a Senior Payroll Specialist on the Accounting Team, you’ll be an integral part of Figma’s payroll operations, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination. In Short • Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll using Workday Payroll • Review timesheets, attendance records and leave of absence pay • Audit payroll tax records • Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay • Create journal entries related to payroll transactions • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams • Participate in audits for 401k and Workers Compensation • File quarterly taxes and issue W-2s • Create and maintain process documentation • Provide payroll reports to internal departments Requirements • 5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing experience • Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance • Experience creating journal entries • Experience recording equity transactions • Understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes • Experience building relationships with stakeholders • Commitment to customer service Benefits • Equity to employees • Health, dental & vision benefits • Retirement with company contribution • Parental leave & family planning support • Mental health & wellness benefits • Generous PTO • Learning & development stipend • Work from home stipend • Cell phone reimbursement • Sales incentive pay for sales roles Apply Job!
