We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Procurement Analyst to support our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This role serves as a key partner in delivering data-driven insights, improving visibility into spend and cost drivers, and enabling more effective sourcing decisions.
This position plays a critical role in building and scaling procurement analytics, tools, and data infrastructure—in some cases from the ground up. The analyst will help advance the organization’s procurement capabilities by improving reporting, standardizing data, and supporting the adoption of modern systems and technologies.
Working closely with the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team, this role provides the analytical foundation, market insights, and reporting needed to support category and supplier strategies, while partnering with Finance to ensure accurate tracking and realization of cost changes.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Analytics, Insights & Reporting
Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support sourcing decisions and financial planning
Analyze spend, volume, and supplier data across categories to improve cost visibility and support sourcing decisions
Translate demand and MRP data into clear insights, including impacts to spend, supplier capacity, and sourcing opportunities
Develop cost models and pricing analyses, including should-cost and total cost of ownership frameworks
Design and maintain dashboards and reporting for procurement KPIs
Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate tracking, validation, and actualization of cost savings and cost changes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to procurement initiatives
Develop clear, compelling presentations and slide decks, including executive updates, supplier QBRs, and sourcing insights
Data, Tools & Procurement Capability
Build and scale the data, systems, and capabilities that enable a best-in-class procurement function
Design and maintain data structures and reporting frameworks, including spend classification, supplier hierarchies, and KPI definitions
Develop solutions for data collection, cleansing, and analysis, including building datasets and tools where needed
Improve tools and systems, including defining requirements, improving usability, and driving adoption
Contribute to the procurement maturity roadmap and evaluate emerging technologies, including advanced analytics and AI-driven tools
Category & Sourcing Support
Enable Category Managers through data-driven insights, analysis, and performance visibility
Partner with Category Managers to deliver market research, inflation trends, key cost drivers (e.g., fish oil, resins, freight), and supplier insights that inform category and sourcing strategies
Track relevant indices and provide ongoing visibility into cost movements and market dynamics
Enable RFI/RFP processes, including improving and automating workflows where possible
Analyze and track supplier performance, developing KPIs and scorecards (cost, service, quality, reliability)
Contribute to development of supplier management and segmentation strategies (e.g., Kraljic matrix) based on performance, risk, and strategic importance
Track Procurement program progress and ensure visibility into realized vs. projected savings

Delivering clear insights that help Category Managers make better sourcing decisions
Building reliable reports and dashboards that improve visibility into spend, savings, and supplier performance
Creating clean, structured data and tools that reduce manual work and improve accuracy
Partnering with Finance to ensure cost savings and changes are accurately tracked
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and risks through data and market analysis
Communicating insights through clear, concise presentations that support decision-making
Position Qualifications:
Required
5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or analytics roles
Strong experience with spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial/data analysis
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools (Domo, Power BI, or similar)
Experience working with ERP or procurement systems (preference for SAP)
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and executive-ready materials
Preferred
Experience building or improving data structures, reporting frameworks, or analytics capabilities
Experience partnering with Finance on cost tracking, budgeting, or savings validation
Familiarity with commodity markets, cost indices, or supply market analysis
Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools
Experience evaluating or implementing digital or AI-enabled procurement tools
