About the Role
This Senior Product Manager position is responsible for managing and enhancing products and services across the Virtual Network Services (VNS) portfolio, with a focus on SD-WAN, SASE, and related product development. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth, management, and innovation of these advanced network solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the VNS portfolio, aligning with company goals and market demands.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for SD-WAN, SASE, and other VNS products.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and operations teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, product positioning strategies, and product launches.
- Product Metrics and Performance: Define, track, and report product metrics to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making and product optimization.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications, driving innovation and product development.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development through design, feature prioritization, development, testing, launch, and post-launch management.
- Agile Methodologies: Utilize Agile or similar frameworks to ensure iterative progress on product features and functionality.
- Customer Acquisition and Retention: Drive customer acquisition and retention rates through strong product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Service-Level Agreements (SLAs): Define performance SLAs and ensure that product performance and availability meet required standards.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategy.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate with leadership and provide regular updates to executives on product performance and strategic direction.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Relevant Work Experience: Six or more years of relevant work experience, with a focus on product management in Virtual Network Services (VNS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), advanced networking, or telecommunications products.
- Product Management Experience: Experience with product development and/or management lifecycle, product roadmaps, and project management.
- Technical and Commercial Understanding: Both technical and commercial understanding of the network business, with a deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision-making.
Even better if you have:
- Advanced Degree: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
- Cross-Functional Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams and motivating/inspiring them to achieve exceptional results.
- Verizon Product Knowledge: Understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offerings across MNS and SD-WAN portfolio.
- Project Management Experience: Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment and Company Culture
As a remote-based role with a hybrid work arrangement, you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being connected to a dynamic team. You'll be expected to work a minimum of eight assigned office days per month, as set by your manager. Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $119,000 to $241,000 annually, depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.
