Senior QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper, US-CA-based Expertise Required

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper with deep expertise in QuickBooks Online, accounting fundamentals, and California compliance. This role is not entry-level. We are looking for someone who understands numbers, not just data entry. At this stage, the workload is 6 to 8 hours per month, with clear potential to grow as the relationship proves successful. Requirements: must have: Proven expert-level experience with QuickBooks Online Strong accounting fundamentals, not just bookkeeping Solid knowledge of California financial and payroll regulations High responsiveness and clear communication Ability to work independently and proactively flag issues Scope of work Invoicing and invoice management Collections monitoring and follow-up Receiving and reconciling payments Bank and credit card reconciliations Payroll coordination and review Producing and filing 1099s Paying subcontractors Monthly and annual financial reports Working with me on automation, QBO rules, invoicing workflows, and process improvements What this is not Not a one-time cleanup Not a junior or learning role Not a “hands-off” client, we collaborate closely Please apply only if you have real experience, references, and are comfortable with financial accuracy.
