We invite an experienced and proactive Software Engineer with strong PHP and React.js skills to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing a new subproduct within our client’s portfolio – a robust human capital management solution that streamlines HR processes, enhances employee engagement, and simplifies payroll, offering genuine value to customers worldwide.

- 5+ years of commercial development experience with PHP and React.js
- Strong experience with MySQL and MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with AWS and knowledge of cloud best practices
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture
- Experience with Git, unit tests, and maintaining code quality
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, high-performance systems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
- Strong ownership, motivation, and accountability
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with payroll or HR system development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker)
- Experience collaborating in distributed teams with English-speaking stakeholders
Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll lead the development and maintenance of core systems for a robust payroll platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and technical excellence.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend and frontend components using PHP and React.js
- Design and implement REST APIs and work with MySQL and MongoDB databases
- Develop, deploy, and maintain platform components in AWS
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and enforce coding standards across the team
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with the team on feature design, problem-solving, and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality
