Senior Staff Accountant

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. You will play a key role in supporting the monthly close process, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation. • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. • Prepare detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets for management review. • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support tax planning efforts. • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
