Senior Staff Accountant - Hybrid Remote Role

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in the Accounting Department and will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month end close, and other ad hoc duties as assigned. Duties & Responsibilities: • Assist with month-end close process including preparation of journal entries, general ledgers, and other related work papers. • Support annual internal and external financials and audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements and footnotes. • Assist with special projects (testing system enhancements and establishing new account reconciliations). • Assist with daily cash projections and reconciling of cash credit sales, and gift card reconciliations. • Support management team with ad hoc requests. Qualifications: • 3 years of corporate or Public Accounting Experience. • CPA license Preferred • BS/BA in related field is required. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required. • Experience in cash reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and gift card reconciliations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • *Hybrid Work Schedule (3 days from home) - MUST LIVE around Atlanta or be willing to relocate here Apply Job!
