Salary $120,000 - $150,000 per year A Bit About Us We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our organization, a leading CPA firm in the great Minneapolis area. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working closely with clients of high net worth and small businesses. For the right candidate, we will consider fully remote as long as you can commit to attending in person quarterly meetings and important client meetings (should they arise). Why join us? As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the tax function, including compliance, planning, and strategy. • Conducting thorough tax reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize tax liability. • Providing expert tax advice and guidance to senior management and other key stakeholders. • Managing relationships with external auditors and tax advisors. • Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and assessing their impact on the company. • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of tax professionals. • Managing tax risks and ensuring that the company is in full compliance with all tax requirements. • Working closely with other departments to provide tax-related input on business decisions and strategies. Job Details Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Manager position will possess the following • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting. • Extensive experience working closely with clients of high net worth and small businesses up to 10 employees, $500K+ in revenue. • A strong background in tax review. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals. • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or EA is required. • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology.
