We're looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer / Web Project Manager to lead website projects from concept to launch while also providing hands-on technical support. We expect this to be around 15 hours a week of ongoing work.
Responsibilities:
Manage website design and development projects from start to finish.
Communicate directly with clients through discovery, status, and review calls.
Coordinate designers, developers, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
Review website designs and ensure they follow modern UX/UI best practices.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.
Solve technical issues related to WordPress, plugins, hosting, performance, and integrations.
Perform quality assurance before website launches.
Requirements:
5+ years of WordPress development experience.
Strong understanding of website design, user experience, and conversion-focused layouts.
Experience managing multiple web projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex WordPress issues independently.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and common WordPress builders (Elementor preferred).
Organized, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects from kickoff through launch.
