Job Title: SEO Backlink Specialist (Off-Page SEO)

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Backlink Specialist to manage and execute off-page SEO strategies. The role focuses on high-quality backlink acquisition, outreach, link audits, and competitor analysis to improve organic rankings, domain authority, and referral traffic across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Backlink Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute white-hat backlink strategies aligned with SEO goals.
• Identify high-authority, relevant websites for link-building opportunities.
• Acquire backlinks through guest posting, niche edits, outreach, citations, PR links, and resource links.
• Ensure all links comply with Google Webmaster Guidelines.
2. Outreach & Relationship Management
• Conduct email and platform-based outreach to bloggers, webmasters, publishers, and partners.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships for recurring backlink opportunities.
• Manage outreach databases and follow-up cycles.
3. Competitor & Backlink Analysis
• Analyse competitor backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, MOZ, etc.
• Identify backlink gaps and opportunities to outrank competitors.
• Track lost, broken, and toxic links.
4. Link Quality & Audits
• Perform regular backlink audits to ensure quality and relevance.
• Identify and disavow toxic or spam-my links when required.
• Monitor anchor text distribution and link velocity.
5. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain detailed backlink trackers and outreach logs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly backlink reports (links built, DA/DR, traffic impact).
• Document SOPs and best practices for off-page SEO.
6. Collaboration & Compliance
• Coordinate with on-page SEO, content, and outreach teams for linkable assets.
• Stay updated with SEO algorithm updates and link-building trends.
• Follow internal processes, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
Requirements
Technical & SEO Skills
• Strong understanding of off-page SEO and backlink strategies.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, MOZ, GSC.
• Knowledge of anchor text strategy, do-follow/no-follow links, DR/DA metrics.
• Understanding of spam signals, link penalties, and disavow process.
Outreach & Communication
• Excellent written communication for outreach emails.
• Ability to personalise pitches and negotiate placements.
• Experience using outreach tools or CRMs (preferred).
Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in backlink building or off-page SEO.
• Experience working with multiple projects or in an agency environment is a plus.
