About the position The Small Business Bookkeeping Team Leader at BudgetEase is responsible for leading a team within the Client Accounting Services (CAS) department. This role focuses on providing exceptional bookkeeping services to a diverse range of clients while ensuring team members are well-supported and trained. Responsibilities • Coach and mentor team members, currently consisting of 2-4 members. , • Meet weekly with team members to discuss their needs and client progress. , • Onboard new team members to ensure they understand processes and feel comfortable working with clients. , • Monitor service delivery by the team to meet client standards. , • Provide training tailored to individual team members. , • Maintain expert knowledge in QuickBooks and related applications. , • Deliver client services focusing on consulting, QuickBooks setup, and problem-solving. , • Communicate educational and training needs to the team. , • Research solutions to address client and team needs. , • Attend 2-3 meetings weekly, including strategy sessions with leadership. Requirements • Expert knowledge of QuickBooks with 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping. , • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. , • Experience managing a team and providing mentorship. , • Ability to read and interpret financial information accurately. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows. , • Strong time management and communication skills. , • Detail-oriented with a passion for numbers and lifelong learning.
