Role Overview We’re hiring a Social Media & Graphics Design Specialist to bring our strategy to life. This is an execution-heavy role that produces high-quality, high-volume social content for our firm with a special focus on developing our regional markets outside of our San Diego headquarters.  You’ll implement campaigns, create graphics and post assets, support attorney content execution, and ensure we stay visually consistent while still feeling local and human.  Salary: $35.00- $45.00 per hour Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. What Success Looks Like (90–180 Days)  - Consistent publishing cadence across markets, aligned with strategy  - Strong visual consistency with localized variations that don’t feel templated  - Faster design turnaround times and a reliable production pipeline  - Engagement improvement across firm pages and regional pages  - Clean templates and an organized asset library that speeds everything up    Key Responsibilities Social Media Publishing + Execution  - Schedule and publish posts across platforms per the monthly content calendar  - Adapt central strategy into local market versions (city/region-specific copy and imagery)  - Ensure brand consistency across all social accounts while allowing local relevance  - Coordinate internal approvals, intake coordination, and compliance review if needed  - Draft graphics for firm paid advertising  Graphic Design & Content Production  - Create social graphics: reels covers, carousels, quote cards, legal tips, infographics  - Create templates and design kits to scale production without sacrificing quality  - Maintain a clean and accessible asset library (photos, b-roll, icons, fonts, brand graphics)  - Support attorney content visually (graphics, headshots, thumbnails, banners)  Collaboration  - Work with Social Media Strategist on execution of attorney content playbooks  - Coordinate with Video Coordinator and other Marketing/Social Media Coordinators on thumbnails, motion graphics, and supporting visuals  - Coordinate with Marketing leadership on campaigns, landing page alignment, and messaging  Quality Control  - Ensure consistent tone and design standards (legible, platform-appropriate, brand-safe)  - Maintain quick turnaround and be responsive to fast-moving story opportunities    Qualifications - 3+ years social media + design experience (in-house or agency)  - Strong design capabilities (Canva + Adobe preferred; Canva expert required)  - Experience scheduling posts and managing multi-market content calendars  - Strong copy instincts and the ability to write captions in a confident, clear voice  - Ability to work quickly while producing thoughtful and professional content  Bonus (Preferred)  - Experience in high-stakes service brands  - Motion graphics (simple After Effects / Canva motion / CapCut motion elements)  Hiring Signals We’re Looking For  - You have a portfolio showing both design range and marketing intent  - You know how to create carousels and reels assets that people actually stop and read  - You can manage multiple markets without letting quality drift    Competencies - Performance & Contributions: Consistently delivers quality results and meets or exceeds job requirements. - Collaboration & Communication: Works effectively with colleagues and communicates clearly. - Initiative: Proactively takes action to achieve results. - Professional Growth & Development: Demonstrates ongoing professional growth and seeks opportunities for development. - Team Performance & Cohesion: Builds a cohesive and high-performing team. - Training & Process Improvement: Demonstrates ability to effectively train a team and individual employees and continually improve processes and performance. - Overall Leadership Performance: Strong leadership performance including building a team and keeping up with administrative requirements to manage the team (i.e. approving time off requests/timecards, ensuring compliance trainings are completed, conducting 90 day and annual evaluations).
