1. Project Overview
Marin Montessori School (MMS) seeks a social media specialist to design and execute a campaign that brings the school’s storytelling content to life across social platforms. The goal is to repurpose and transform existing multimedia assets—including videos, podcasts, and photography—into engaging reels, carousels, and posts that convey MMS’s distinctive educational philosophy with warmth, clarity, and authenticity.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience repurposing multimedia content for various social channels and an expert understanding of current trends, storytelling formats, and audience engagement strategies. Strong skills in video and audio editing, along with a design sensibility for creating visually appealing posts, are essential. The work should reflect and reinforce MMS’s established brand and messaging platform.
This social media campaign will draw on:
The Grounded and Soaring podcast and blog post series
The Elementary and Junior High program videos
A continuous stream of weekly campus photography and short clips
The campaign’s purpose is to strengthen MMS’s positioning across three key areas:
Recruitment: Attracting prospective families
Retention: Deepening confidence among current parents
Thought Leadership: Elevating MMS as a credible, respected voice on child development and education
The specialist will develop an integrated creative approach that adapts these assets for MMS’s primary social platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube—ensuring all content aligns with the school’s visual identity, tone, and messaging pillars.
