Tracking Code 16389-096 Job Description JOB SUMMARY: This position will work in a collaborative manner with internal and external partners to develop and coordinate social media initiatives to align with organizational strategic goals. The Social Media Coordinator will have a strong focus on brand (patient facing, physician facing, recruiting, etc.), drive KPIs for social media platforms, drive clinic engagement, maintain a close following of the key social platforms, and collaborate with the Social Media Manager to define and optimize social media calendars, etc. As is the case with all Upstream associates, this position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of Upstream Rehabilitation. QUALIFICATIONS - Required Education Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study Experience Social media for business, public relations, marketing, communications, advertising Skills Social media management/knowledge, Adobe Creative Suite, copywriting, branding, multi-task on digital/social platforms. Environment Remote Hours of Work 40 hours per week Travel Minimal-Moderate Physical Requirements Must be able to travel, sit for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience • 5+ yrs. experience with B2C social media marketing or content development • B2B experience is a plus but not required (e.g. one to many on physician groups, etc.) • Proven work experience as a social media coordinator • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively • Excellent communication skills • Multitasking and analytical skills JOB FUNCTIONS • Content • Social Media: • Assists with developing and curating engaging content for the company’s social media platforms (from creation to reporting) • Creates design of posts, events and promotions for social media campaigns (text, image, video) • Creates campaigns and polls via social media to support company initiatives and marketing campaigns • Maintains unified brand voice across various social media channels, as well as crafting specific messaging for individual brands and company departments • Collaborates with marketing team to execute planned social media calendar • Researches relevant content for posts on social media • Understands and reports on social media analytics • Researches changing social media best practices and makes recommendations as appropriate to remain current and proactive • Stays current on latest trends of social media marketing • Interacts with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments. • Reputation Management • Monitors online reviews on various platforms • Monitor and engage with reviewers • Work with internal team to execute action plan for negative reviews • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans • Blog • Work with team on potential blog content • Share content of company’s blog through social media channels • Communication • Works well with Office Coordinators, Clinic Directors, Regional Director, Business Office staff and peers. • Communicates well with the general public, both patients and non-patients. • Maintains communication with the field and social media editors for feedback and training. • Knowledge/Skills • Stays abreast of latest technology, techniques and best practices for social media and incorporates into the company’s overall marketing strategy • Experience with social media posting/scheduling platforms • Experience with light graphic design work • Understanding of social media KPIs • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Job Location Birmingham, Alabama, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular
