Thank you for your understanding. _____________________________________________________________ Social Media Manager (Full-Time, Remote) – Consumer Brands (Tech & Men’s Skincare) We are looking for a data-driven Social Media Manager to manage and grow the presence of two consumer brands: MakakaOnTheRun – A German startup focused on privacy, cybersecurity, and RFID-blocking products. MännerSache – A German men’s skincare brand built around confidence, performance, and high-quality German manufacturing. This is a full-time, long-term remote position for someone who understands consumer products, brand positioning, and performance analytics. ⚠️ This is NOT just a posting role. We are looking for someone who understands numbers, studies performance, and continuously optimizes strategy. What You’ll Be Responsible For Planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across: Instagram TikTok Facebook YouTube LinkedIn (when relevant) Managing two separate content calendars with distinct brand voices Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics: Engagement rate Reach & growth Watch time Click-through rate (CTR) Conversions Optimizing content strategy based on analytics Identifying trends relevant to: Consumer products Men’s grooming Lifestyle Privacy & tech Collaborating with designers, video editors, and internal teams Maintaining brand consistency across all platforms Who We’re Looking For ✅ Required: 3+ years managing social media for consumer/physical product brands Experience with skincare, grooming, lifestyle, or tech brands Familiarity with German or EU brands Strong understanding of analytics and performance optimization Experience managing multiple platforms with different strategies Ability to explain why content performs (or doesn’t) Independent, organized, and proactive Strong written English Experience supporting paid social campaigns Performance marketing mindset Important: What We Value Most We are specifically looking for someone who: Thinks strategically, not just creatively Uses data to make decisions Understands brand psychology Can manage two different brand identities without mixing them Plans 2–4 weeks ahead Takes ownership If you mainly focus on aesthetics without discussing numbers, this role may not be the right fit.
