As we expand our presence in San Francisco, California, Tackles.pro is seeking a motivated Social Media Manager Intern to help strengthen our online presence. The intern will support brand growth by creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, building online communities, and improving overall social media performance to reach local audiences.
Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Social Media Manager. The intern will support the growth and optimization of Tackles.pro’s social media presence with a focus on audiences in San Francisco and the broader California market.
Responsibilities include planning and scheduling social media content, managing posts across platforms, engaging with followers, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to increase reach and engagement. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and development teams to ensure social media campaigns align with the platform’s brand identity and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, schedule, and manage social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
• Develop content strategies to grow audience engagement and brand awareness in San Francisco and surrounding markets
• Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to improve campaign effectiveness
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and help build an active online community
• Track analytics and generate reports on social media performance
• Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and content collaborations
Qualifications
• Interest in social media marketing, digital branding, and online community management
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and growth strategies
• Strong communication and creativity in content creation
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely
• Interest in sports, digital platforms, or startup environments is a plus
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field
