Software Designer Co-op/Intern

Nokia is seeking a Software Designer Co-op/Intern for a 4-month position. The role involves collaborating with software designers and testers to refine requirements, develop product features, and enhance automated test suites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software designers and testers to refine requirements, develop, and test product features
• Investigate and fix product defects
• Enhance automated test suites

Skills

• Currently a 2nd year+ candidate for a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science with an accredited school in Canada
• Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, SQL)
• Programming skills (Java, JavaScript, React, Go)
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with software development and productivity tools (Git, IDE, Jira, Teams)
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
