Solution Architect

Our team works on a variety of internal and external projects focusing on AWS cloud solutions with particular emphasis on AI/ML implementations and cloud migrations. The role balances between supporting internal initiatives (AWS funding applications, competency programs, presales) and leading client-facing engagements across diverse industries including IT, telecommunications, retail, and entertainment, with a special focus on Financial Services (banking, insurance, wealth management).

On internal projects, you'll create reusable solution architectures, develop demos, and produce technical assets for presales activities. For client engagements, you'll design and implement cloud architectures optimized for performance, cost, security, and reliability, with specific attention to AI/ML workloads and migration pathways.

The Solution Architect role aims to drive technical excellence and business growth through the following key objectives:

• Design and implement innovative AWS (Azure and GCP) cloud architectures for both internal initiatives and client projects, with measurable improvements in performance, security, and cost-efficiency

• Successfully secure AWS funding through programs like PoC and MAP, with a target of application time is 2 days for PoC fundings

• Expand our AWS competency portfolio by leading at least two new competency applications per year, focusing on Migration and Financial Services specializations

• Support sales teams on proposals requiring technical architecture input

• Deliver on AWS Marketplace a minimum of four reusable solution accelerators annually that can be leveraged across multiple client engagements

• Ensure all customer implementations meet or exceed AWS Well-Architected framework standards, maintaining a remediation completion rate of at least 50%

• Drive adoption of AI/ML solutions across our client base, targeting implementation of at least three production-grade AI/ML projects per year

• Achieve a 90% success rate on AWS funding applications submitted

• Successfully secure AWS funding through programs like PoC and MAP, with a target of application time is 2 days for PoC fundings

• Complete and document at least 20 AWS Well-Architected reviews annually

• Deliver a minimum of 4 reusable solution accelerators or demos per year that demonstrably reduce time-to-market

• Increase AWS certification portfolio at all level (Foundation, Associate and Pro/Spec) by 30% annually in certification number.

• Meet or exceed 50% billable utilization target while balancing internal initiatives

• Achieve Premier Tier AWS Partnership within a 1 year

• Design and implement cloud architectures with special emphasis on AI/ML workloads and migration pathways, including technical documentation and cost optimization strategies

• Lead AWS funding program applications (PoC, MAP, AI/ML specialized) by creating comprehensive technical artifacts, conducting TCO analyses, and managing stakeholder communication

• Develop reusable solution accelerators and demos for presales activities that showcase innovative approaches to common industry challenges

• Conduct AWS Well-Architected reviews, identify critical gaps, and guide remediation processes to ensure best practices implementation

• Support sales teams during proposal development and customer presentations by translating complex technical solutions into business value propositions

• Cloud architecture design and implementation with deep expertise in AWS services, particularly in AI/ML and data processing

• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are required (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Professional, or Data Analytics/Machine Learning Specialty)

• Solution design documentation and architectural diagramming with clear articulation of technical and business requirements

• AWS funding program navigation and application development with proven track record of securing approvals

• Financial analysis and cloud economics with ability to create compelling TCO models and ROI justifications

• Advanced technical communication and presentation skills for explaining complex solutions to diverse audiences

• AI/ML solution development including practical experience implementing machine learning workflows and pipelines

• Industry knowledge in Financial Services (banking, insurance, wealth management) and regulatory compliance requirements. Security and compliance expertise with knowledge of implementing secure architectures that meet regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, etc.)

• Technical presales and consultation with ability to translate business problems into technical solutions

• In-depth understanding of AWS cloud services architecture, particularly services related to AI/ML, data analytics, and migration

• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS funding programs, eligibility criteria, and application processes

• Advanced understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements for regulated industries

• Current awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, with particular focus on AI/ML applications

• Familiarity with Financial Services industry challenges, use cases, and technical requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture with at least 3 years specifically focused on AWS cloud technologies

• Demonstrated track record of successfully securing and implementing AWS funding programs (MAP, PoC, etc.)

• Experience leading or contributing to at least 3 enterprise-scale AI/ML implementations from concept to production

• Prior experience with AWS Partner Network (APN) activities including competency programs and marketplace listings

• History of successful technical presales engagements and RFP responses with measurable win rates

• Experience working with Financial Services clients and implementing solutions that meet industry regulatory requirements
