Additionally, the intern will record, write, and edit video stories for social media. Interns also operate field production equipment as a videographer and edit video and audio for SDPB staff. The role requires familiarity with camera operation, Adobe Creative Suite, and media lighting and sound.Applicants should have taken two production classes—one focused on television field production and one focused on television editing. Studio production experience at a college station or local news station is preferred. Script writing and storytelling class work would be helpful but is not required.QualificationsApplicant must be enrolled as a part‑time or full‑time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time of application. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.All students are encouraged to apply.
