As a Senior Financial Analyst, Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL) Finance, youll oversee the financial performance of Middle Mile transportation, which encompasses any Target node to Target node moves. The role is critical to ensuring we deliver product on time to our stores and fulfillment centers to serve our guests while managing and optimizing the costs. Core responsibilities of this role include: direct financial support to the Sr Director Middle Mile Transportation and his/her team; budgeting and forecasting expenses, actual performance recaps to Finance and business leaders; ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers and influence optimal outcomes; financial analysis for key business initiatives. Reporting to the Director of GSCL Finance, youll be supported along the way to help your clients drive continued financial success and to provide them with analytical insights of their performance. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. About you: Four-year college degree with equivalent experience (4-6 years) in Finance and/or Operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience working with big data Ability to work with all levels of management with high level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
