Job Overview: We are seeking an Oracle Sr Functional Consultant specializing in Finance and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) for a contract opportunity at a client project engagement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations, particularly within the construction and civil sectors. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage Oracle Cloud Financial implementations, focusing on key areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Chart of Accounts, Legal Entities, Expense Management, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Revenue Management. • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements through user discussions, converting them into comprehensive setup and configuration documentation. • Facilitate user testing sessions, ensuring that the implemented solutions meet client expectations and requirements. • Conduct in-depth analysis of BI Publisher and financial reporting requirements, providing necessary insights and support. • Deliver ongoing production support and troubleshooting for financial modules, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction. • Maintain familiarity with Financial Accounting Regulations (FAR) and engage effectively with government and non-government customers, especially in billing and expense reimbursement processes. Qualifications: • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. • CPA, Taxation, or any Finance experience is highly needed. • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, specifically in Finance and PPM. • Proven track record of multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations, particularly within North America (U.S. and Canada). • Prior experience in the construction and civil industries is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts, Taxation Rules in North America Region with project and portfolio management principles. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and document processes effectively. • Proficient in Audit & Government financial reporting tools. • Willingness to travel domestically within the U.S. and Canada as required.
