Sr. Specialist, Growth Automation
Our global entertainment client is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Growth Automation to support end-to-end messaging solution development for global commerce, identity, and research initiatives. The Sr. Specialist, Growth Automation enables high-quality messaging experiences by refining requirements with marketers, designing and building messaging solutions, conducting rigorous quality assurance, and using experimentation and analytical insights to optimize performance. This position also partners closely with engineering, product, and research teams to ensure compliance, observability, and a consistently reliable user experience. This will be a 40 hour per week, 12-month, fully remote contract role.
Top 3 Required Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in a technology or business discipline with a quantitative focus
• Ability to code emails using HTML/CSS and apply template scripting languages such as liquid or handlebars
• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or similar applied roles, including experience working in agile teams and conducting unbiased experiments
Other Qualifications
• Working knowledge of messaging best practices across email, push, and in-app channels
• Experience identifying and resolving potential bugs; strong attention to quality
• Strong writing skills for documentation, solution design, and insights
• Active messaging platform certifications (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Experience Manager) preferred
• Working knowledge of SQL preferred
• Multilingual verbal and written proficiency a plus
Key Responsibilities
• Engage marketers in refinement sessions to clarify strategy requirements and finalize intake
• Provide custom or experimental solution designs aligned to strategy requirements and secure stakeholder approval
• Build messaging solutions and conduct self-directed quality assurance testing
• Conduct marketer user acceptance testing (UAT) for custom solutions
• Perform peer-review quality assurance for Marketing Operations teammates to support deployment readiness
• Monitor solution deployments to identify and resolve or mitigate potential issues
• Use business intelligence reporting or direct analytical queries to determine business impact and inform future refinements or team reporting
• Apply experimentation methods to improve user engagement and assess solution effectiveness
