• Lead comprehensive healthcare journey mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done research to understand clinician, provider and patient needs.
• Design and execute mixed-method research studies that address sensitive healthcare topics, including in-clinic patient visits, central health record management, and telehealth experiences.
• Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to healthcare audiences.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and roadmaps.
• Synthesize findings from healthcare research workstreams to identify patterns and opportunities across the health experience.

• MA/MS in experimental psychology, HCI, design, anthropology, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) with demonstrated impact.
• Experience with a variety of research methods (e.g., survey design, personas, remote testing, lab studies, diary studies, concept testing, benchmarking, and other methods).
• Experience with synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into compelling opportunities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Expertise in zero to one and generative research methodologies.
• Strong understanding of healthcare privacy concerns and trust-building research methods, including the handling of protected health information (PHI).
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.
• Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around study plans and reports.
• Demonstrated thought-leadership with a passion for translating data into design.

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market.
