Staff Accountant – Accounting

The Jaeb Center for Health Research is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant - Accounting. Responsibilities include recording daily banking transactions (journal entries), maintenance of the vendor file, recording and posting payments, project support including reconciliations/update/corrections, review/follow up on travel reimbursements and processing for data entry by the Accounts Payable Clerk, and report preparation. This includes monthly reconciliations of the credit cards and other month-end and year-end closing procedures, as necessary. An associate degree (or higher) in accounting or a related field is strongly preferred. Extensive, relevant experience may be substituted for education. The salary range is $57,000 to $60,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes an excellent benefits package. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position; relocation to the Tampa Bay area is not required. The Jaeb Center is a nonprofit entity in Tampa, FL whose primary focus is in serving as a Coordinating Center for multi-center clinical trials.
