Staff Accountant - Tax

Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs is a locally owned CPA firm in Las Vegas, serving closely held businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. They are seeking an Entry-Level Tax Accountant to assist with the preparation of tax returns and support tax planning projects while developing tax technical skills under experienced CPAs. Responsibilities Prepare individual, partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation tax returns under supervision Assist with tax extensions, estimated tax calculations, and related compliance filings Organize and review client source documents for completeness and accuracy Perform basic tax research and assist with client questions Work with senior staff and managers to meet deadlines and firm quality standards Use firm software and workflow tools to track assignments and deliverables Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development activities Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or near completion) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting concepts Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset 0–2 years of experience in public accounting or relevant internship experience preferred Interest in pursuing CPA licensure (CPA exam progress a plus) Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Company Overview Campbell, Jones, Cohen CPAs focuses on you or your business where it counts.
