Staff Accountant—Fully Remote Position

What You’ll Do: • Own the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial close processes. • Produce accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules. • Manage the accounts receivable processes, including cash applications, resolving inquiries, and validating client balances, while overseeing the automated billing process • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoice approvals, disbursements, and vendor communications. • Support internal and external audits/reviews with comprehensive documentation and insights. • Collaborate with the technology team to enhance financial systems, processes, and controls. • Research technical accounting standards and ensure compliance with US GAAP. • Lead initiatives to identify and address process improvements and operational efficiencies and deploy best practices. What We’re Looking For: • Experience: At least 3+ years in accounting (public, industry, or a mix). • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • Technical Skills: Proficient in US GAAP, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks; experience with other financial tools is a plus. • Analytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. • Adaptable and excited to learn new systems and tools. Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 based on experience.
