Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer / Tech Lead to help us automate and improve industrial plants through the deployment of AI technology. You'll own technical direction, raise the bar of strong engineers, and have experience working with a high degree of autonomy.
What You Will Do
You'll deploy our technology with customers, help them use it to improve their plants, and take a problem from 'I saw something that could be improved at a plant' to a shipped feature in our app deploying at the plant, end-to-end, within a sprint or two.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You'll work closely with customers, assess their operations, and understand what's critical to impact. You'll also work shoulder-to-shoulder with our ML team, turning their outputs into something a forklift driver and a procurement manager both want to use.
Requirements
- Led multiple user-facing projects end-to-end
- Owning system design and architecture for a production product
- Deep experience with Python, Django, DRF, React, React Native, PostgresQL, and Google Cloud
- Experience monitoring reliable systems and recovering from outages
- At least 5 years in an environment where shipping fast is important
