Why Join Us • Truly flexible remote work • Manageable tax-season hours (typically 4050 hours per week during busy season, not 80100) • Collaborative, in-house approach (no chasing external CPAs) • Well-defined career path, and a strong preference for promoting from within • Focus on continuous improvementwe love to embrace better processes and technology What You'll Do Year-Round • Collaborate with the tax team and accounting team to deliver high-quality tax services to our dental practice clients • Communicate directly with clients to collect missing information, answer questions, and maintain strong relationships • Organize, analyze, and compile client data to support accurate, efficient tax preparation • Proactively manage your workload, keeping the team informed on progress and pending items Tax Season (FebruaryApril) • Prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and speed • Conduct virtual sessions with clients to help complete personal tax organizers • Handle up to approximately 200 returns annually (majority during busy season) • Meet deadlines without sacrificing quality Off-Season • Prepare extended individual and business returns • Assist with updating tax planning documents and projections • Help clients plan for upcoming deadlines with mid-year, third-quarter, and year-end tax projections What Sets You Up for Success Here • Strong client-service mindset: clear communicator, proactive about follow-up • Bias toward action: you don't wait for assignmentsyou go get them • Ability to self-manage in a fully remote environment • Detail-oriented while maintaining speed and efficiency • Comfortable learning and adopting new technology Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • At least 3 years of tax preparation experience (individual and business returns) • CPA license strongly preferred • Candidates without a CPA must be actively pursuing it, with at least half of the exams passed • Experience in public accounting or multi-client environments Compensation and Benefits • Base salary: $60,000$80,000, depending on experience and CPA status • Tax season and end-of-year bonuses • 75% of individual health insurance covered (HSA available) • 100% vision insurance • Short-term and long-term disability insurance paid • Up to 4% 401(k) match • Unlimited PTO • Flexible schedule • Fully virtual work • Computer equipment provided • Becker CPA Review costs covered if needed • CPE and CPA licensure paid About Our Culture We're not the Big Four.
