Staff VP, Enrollment and Billing

About the position This position involves overseeing the enrollment and billing functions for various lines of business at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. The role requires managing both internal and external processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and developing strategies to enhance productivity. The individual will lead a team, manage vendor relationships, and participate in strategic planning to align with corporate goals. Responsibilities • Motivate, manage, and lead high-performance teams involved in enrollment processing. , • Manage payment processing functions and department metrics. , • Provide support and service quality to managers and team leaders, including coaching and feedback reviews. , • Collaborate with operation leaders to resolve escalations or conflicts related to enrollment and billing operations. , • Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational policies, and legislative requirements. , • Address audit feedback and proactively identify risks and gaps in processes. , • Oversee the development, training, and communication for onboarding new staff. , • Control the continuous improvement roadmap for enrollment and billing processes. , • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely processing of bills to members. , • Develop and align strategic plans to corporate strategic pillars for growth and customer experience. Requirements • 10+ years in the healthcare industry working in the payor segment with experience in operations, finance, or general management fields. , • High school diploma in general studies. Nice-to-haves • 15+ years in the healthcare industry working in the payor segment with experience in operations, finance, or general management fields. , • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
