Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular teacher
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
Developing and implementing lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
Collaborating with school staff and administrators to ensure a seamless educational experience
Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references with one by a previous direct supervisor
- NJ Substitute Credential and background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education and putting students first, with an empathetic nature, growth mindset, and drive to excel
