Surgery and Anesthesia Billing / Coding Professional

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing processes, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties • Review and analyze patient medical records to ensure accurate coding using ICD-10 and ICD-9 systems. • Assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered in accordance with established guidelines. • Process medical billing claims to insurance companies. • Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in patient records or coding. • Conduct medical collections as necessary, ensuring timely payment for services rendered. • Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, coding practices, and insurance policies. Requirements • Coding Certification: for Certified Coder Positions; preferrable CASC, COC, CANPC • Coding and Charge Capture • Payment Posting • Insurance Claims Billing/Resolve to rejections • Coding reviews and denials appeal assistance • Coding reviews of documentation in question by the coding team • Management of payor chart audits/ Internal Audits • Insurance overpayment reviews/issuance or disputes as needed. • Ability to assist in aging follow through and unpaid claims • Address physician documentation matters • Month end closing/Utilization of reports • Insurance Credentialing • EDI/ERA/EFT Enrollments • Seeking experienced billers with full knowledge of RCM and processes within. • MS office/word/excel We're looking to add talented professionals to our team who offer strength and experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center and Anesthesia Billing and Coding. ++This is a remote position, seeking professionals in the state of Florida. ++We are a Christian based workplace.
