Survey CAD Drafting Technician (Entry Level)

Job Overview This is for an actively growing surveying company with the ability to work remotely. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects, working closely with the project manager to bring concepts to life. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in drafting and design within the surveying industry. Compensation: Based on experience Duties • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings. • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and project deliverables. • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements. • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology. Requirements • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Civil 3D is preferred. • Familiarity with drafting techniques, construction processes. • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. • Basic understanding of 2D animation concepts is a plus. • A degree or coursework in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
