System Spec - Billing

About the position BJC HealthCare is seeking a System Billing Specialist! Ideal candidates will have a background within billing or revenue cycle within the healthcare field. Location & Schedule: Training is on site for the first 3 months from 7 am-3:30 pm. After training is complete this will be on site 3 days per week, and remote 2 days per week. Hours are flexible starting between 6 am-9 am M-F Overview Role Purpose Analyzes and coordinates tracking and resolution of billing errors. Maintains and operates the database and is responsible for monitoring of errors and identification of opportunities for improvement of processes. Responsibilities • Provides complete and concise reporting and analysis of billing. • Serves as a coordinator between various departments and Patient Accounts in the reporting of errors. • Serves as the primary resource for financial data and analysis, providing account-level and receivables management information on volumes, trends, and process improvement initiatives.
