Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (Independent Contractor) with proven experience recruiting in the beauty industry (salons, spas, esthetics) in the U.S. Experience in the Canadian market is a strong plus. This contractor role will focus on building and maintaining a strong pipeline of stylists and beauty professionals across our regions. You will work closely with our HR leadership and marketing team to ensure outreach and recruitment efforts align with our brand. Key Responsibilities • Generate and maintain a live pipeline of stylist and beauty professional leads. • Conduct direct outreach via Instagram, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels to engage candidates. • Establish and maintain relationships with beauty schools through calls, emails, and virtual presentations. • Develop simple and engaging recruitment content (ads, posts, information sheets). • Collaborate with the social media team on hiring content, hashtags, and engagement strategies. Qualifications • Proven experience recruiting in the U.S. beauty industry (salons, esthetics). • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with creative professionals. • Comfortable using social media as a recruitment tool. • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage deliverables independently. Preferred • Experience recruiting in the Canadian market (Toronto/Ontario). • Existing relationships with beauty schools. • Familiarity with CRMs or applicant tracking systems. • Knowledge of employer branding in the beauty space.
