Description Position Overview Natural Gas Services Group is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across skilled trades, field operations, and professional roles within the oil and natural gas industry. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, using modern recruitment tools and HRIS systems to ensure we bring the best candidates into the organization. Essential Functions • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create targeted recruiting strategies. • Source and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter (including AI-enabled tools), industry networks, job boards, and employee referrals. • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, including skilled trades, field service technicians, and corporate professionals. • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit. • Coordinate and schedule interviews, gather feedback, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process. • Maintain applicant records and recruiting activity in Paylocity or Workday HRIS to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. • Track and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire. • Support employer branding initiatives to promote NGS as an employer of choice in the oil and natural gas sector. • Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee experience. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in the oil and natural gas industry, or demonstrated success recruiting skilled trades and field-based employees. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Paylocity or Workday HRIS for recruitment workflows. • Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, including use of AI-driven sourcing features. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Other Requirements: • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruiting best practices. • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated success filling hard-to-hire and niche roles in remote locations.
