They are seeking a Tax Staff Accountant who will prepare and review tax returns, assist with tax planning, and resolve IRS matters while working closely with clients and partners in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Overseeing, analyzing and preparing financial reports 1st and 2nd Level of Tax Return Preperation for 1040 / 1065 / 1120 / 1120s / 990 / 1041 Oversee team development on technical skills and work quality Maintain updated reporting on project status and capacity forecasts Resolve IRS issues on behalf of clients Projecting interim financial information to make tax estimates Tax planning for individual and business clients Communicating with clients regarding their financial, business and tax matters Skills BS in Accounting or Finance 1-5 years of public accounting firm experience Possess the ability to manage client relationships, multiple projects and meet deadlines Possess effective writing and communication skills Full-cycle financial transaction and tax experience Real estate tax experience Strong knowledge of partnership and syndication groups Accounting: 2 years Tax Experience: 2 years CPA Benefits Continuing education credits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Work from home Company Overview We are a Certified Public Accounting firm based in Irving, Texas registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
