Position: Tax Compliance Specialist Location: Schenectady, NY (Remote) Duration: 3 Months Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Compliance Specialist to oversee and implement updates across various jurisdictions and tax classes. The role involves ensuring accurate tax identification numbers, updating mailing addresses, and company name changes in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Tax Identification Updates: • Update Officer's tax identification numbers for State Income Tax (SIT) and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) across SIT jurisdictions and SUI jurisdictions. • Ensure accuracy in tax identification numbers for jurisdictions. • Mailing Address and Contact Information Updates to PO BOX • Update mailing addresses to PO Box. • Update company name across jurisdictions. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of tax compliance processes for SIT and SUI across multiple jurisdictions. • Proficiency in managing and updating tax identification numbers and mailing addresses. • Experience in handling federal, state, and local tax requirements. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
