Role Description We?re seeking tax professionals with a passion for technology and a desire to shape the future of tax preparation. This role is ideal for those with experience using Drake, UltraTax, CCH Axcess, or ProConnect, who are eager to help train Numiro?s proprietary AI to handle increasingly complex tax scenarios. You?ll be instrumental in preparing tax returns for our AI models, essentially mentoring our AI, and ultimately transforming how tax work is done. Qualifications ? 4 years of relevant tax preparation experience, ideally in small to mid-size public accounting firms. ? Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. ? PTIN required; EA or CPA certification preferred but not required. ? Proficiency with systems like Drake, UltraTax, CCH Axcess, or ProConnect software. ? Strong knowledge of tax laws for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. ? Excellent problem-solving, research skills, and the ability to quickly find solutions online. ? Self-starter with a passion for contributing to an AI-driven startup. Responsibilities ? Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. ? Review client tax information and identify missing items. ? Perform tax research and assist with tax planning. ? Collaborate with Numiro?s development team to train the AI on tax preparation workflows and edge cases. ? Mentor the AI by providing detailed feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency over time. ?
