Tax Senior (100% Remote, UltraTax - Navigator Recruiting - Denver, CO - work from home job Company: Navigator Recruiting Job description: Tax Senior (100% Remote) Public Accounting - Growing & Fun Local CPA Firm $90,000 - $130,000 + Bonus + Benefits Denver, CO - Based Navigator Recruiting client is a local reputable Denver, CO CPA firm of 5 full-time staff (who all work remotely), including 1 Partner/Owner (CPA, MBA); 1 Tax Senior (JD, EA); 3 Tax Accountants (1 sitting for CPA exam) and 1 Office Manager. The owner is very easy-going, trusts his employees, is concerned for his employees' well-being and values communication. Tax clients are typically small businesses and individuals in metro Denver which have annual revenues less than $10M. The firm has grown by 75 clients in 2020, another 80-90 clients in 2021, and another 20% growth in 2022, so the partner is seeking to hire someone else to help him review tax returns and prepare some returns, mainly. About 10% of the role will also consist of conducting meetings with potential new clients who are referred to the firm. The firm offers an excellent growth opportunity and benefits. Responsibilities: The firm is seeking someone to review tax returns (50% of the time), prepare tax returns (35% of the time) and do some accounting/other work (5% of the time) and hold new client meetings(10% of the time). Clients are S Corporations, Partnerships, some C Corporations and Individuals. The firm uses a cloud-based version of UltraTax and QuickBooks. This is a client-facing role. You would have meetings with clients over videoconference and being able to communicate effectively is critical.
