Learn more at Accordus.com ( JOB TITLE: Team Lead - Accounting REPORTS TO: Director of Operations SCOPE OF POSITION: Team Lead - Accounting is a part-time contractor role. This team member works as a project manager for clients who use our accounting services. This position does not do accounting work directly but ensures accounting tasks are assigned to the team and provides clear and timely updates to the clients. DAYTIME AVAILABILITY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, and/or THURSDAY IS REQUIRED FOR CLIENT CALLS. For this role, we are looking for: • A people person who loves numbers and has a foundational understanding of basic accounting (if you are a career Accountant, you are probably over-qualified for this job!) • Must be US-based • Work experience or education in Business or Finance is preferred • You are an excellent communicator • Show up on time, prepared, and ready to lead Zoom calls with clients • Prior experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred • Someone who is a great culture fit ( for our team • Need to be proficient with all the basic business platforms (Dropbox, Excel, Word, Outlook) • We have an accounting team to do the work, but we need a great person with basic accounting proficiency to interact with the client The role will be between 10-20 hours/week. This is not a full-time job. We are 100% remote and, outside of weekly client calls, you can work flexibly and set your own hours.
