Summary: Full Time Monday- Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. , Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Position is remote after 1 month of in person training at our Hummelstown Office. Must be a resident of Central Pennsylvania. Ensures that blood collection goals are met by telephone recruiting the appropriate donors to the fixed sites and mobile blood drive operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Calls potential blood donors and answers incoming calls. Telerecruits appropriate donors based on inventory needs. Calls potential donors and answers incoming calls by following script guidelines. Uses assertive communication to secure appointments. Performs reminder calls and no-show calls. Schedules next appointment for donors at the donor sites. Meets individual and team goals to complete a minimum number of dials and appointments per hour. Responsible for presenting a positive public image when interacting with donors and representing a donor site. Builds rapport with donors through excellent customer service and the use of effective listening skills. Maintains accurate records. This includes computer data entry, appointment schedules, and other written records. Possesses a clear understanding of the donation process and donor deferral guidelines and procedures. Refers donor inquiries to appropriate personnel. Respects confidentiality regarding donor information. Completes other job related responsibilities as apparent or assigned. Organizes and prioritizes work each shift based upon guidance from department manager and from the site leader, ensuring goals are met within prescribed standards of quality. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self motivated with an ability to work independently with little supervision. Excellent interpersonal communication skills Accurate oral and written communication Sales skills preferred Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Willingness to follow direction Ability to work well with others Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability perform basic math skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and SOPs Problem solving abilities. Qualifications: Telemarketing or customer service experience preferred. High school graduate preferred. Requirements: Required to regularly sit and talk and hear. Vision abilities required include close vision, color differentiation, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Continuous use of customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Working Conditions: Work is performed remote from home after 1 month of in person training.
