Job Overview
As an Innovation Developer at Workwarp, you will play a pivotal role in introducing client ideas, developing innovative products, and enhancing existing solutions through rapid prototyping and development activities. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your full-stack engineering background to drive innovation and growth in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be working 40 hours per week, following standard business hours with the flexibility to accommodate East Coast hours for meetings between 10am-3pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new ideas and prototypes in areas such as AI, machine learning, UX, analytics, and blockchain through small-scale technology pilots
- Conduct reverse engineering of code, hypothesis testing, solution architecture development, idea generation, and prepare project summary demonstrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, communicate progress, and setup environments for execution and presentation of findings
- Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges and drive project success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. We are looking for candidates with at least four years of experience in SaaS cloud application development, rapid prototyping, or innovation labs, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong foundation in full-stack engineering with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with SaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and cloud-based technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Passion for technology and user-centric design with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and UX design
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems such as GitHub
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms
