About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a TikTok and Email Outreach Intern. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive engagement and growth. This is an unpaid marketing internship, open to high school and college students, and is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop bespoke content and write copy for online marketing and social media outreach, including TikTok and email campaigns
• Collaborate with executive management to drive company growth by developing and improving business development and marketing strategies
• Track and interpret marketing analytics and conduct market research to optimize market penetration and user engagement
• Commit at least an hour on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends to work on assigned tasks and projects
• Attend meetings with short notice and be available for regular check-ins with the team
• Develop marketing content for the nonprofit on various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
• Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies to achieve business goals, including creating compelling email content, designing templates, and incorporating visuals
• Segment email lists based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics to optimize email campaigns
• Analyze email campaign metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and generate actionable insights to improve future campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and ensure a cohesive brand message
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned, including assisting with social media management, content creation, and video production

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Social Media Marketing and Communication skills, including experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
• Social Media Content Creation and Video Production skills, including experience with video editing software and content management systems
• Experience in managing social media platforms, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analyzing engagement metrics
• Passion for medicine and the medical field, with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of aspiring medical professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Creative mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing solutions
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team, with strong time management and organizational skills
• Previous experience in social media management is a plus, with a strong understanding of social media analytics and marketing principles
