We’re building a consumer app that helps people check if someone is active on dating platforms.
We don’t scrape, we don’t do anything shady - we legally use third-party services and permission-based flows.
Our PSP is asking a bunch of data-privacy and compliance questions, and we want someone who can build the legal narrative around how we operate and why it’s fully compliant.
What you’ll do:
• Go through our product flow and validate that everything sits well within data privacy laws.
• Help us answer PSP questions around data handling, consent, storage, retention, and platform policies.
• Clearly explain why our approach is legal, privacy-safe, and doesn’t violate any dating-app ToS.
• Flag any risks and tell us how to fix them.
• Draft short legal notes or clarifications we can send to the PSP.
What we need:
• Strong background in GDPR and global data privacy laws.
• Experience with consumer apps or anything involving user data flows.
• Ability to turn legal frameworks into simple, defensible explanations.
• Understanding of platform ToS and compliance is a bonus.
What we’ll give you:
• Full product flow
• Architecture diagrams
• PSP question list
• Anything else you need to map the data pathway
Goal:
Create a clean, airtight legal case so our PSP can greenlight us without hesitation.
If this fits your skill set, drop your experience, relevant work, and your pricing.
