We are recruiting for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join a high-growth, advisory firm with a national footprint and expanding global presence. This role sits within a transformation-oriented team that partners with CFO organizations to modernize finance and business operations through a blend of strategic advisory and hands-on execution across process, operating model, data, and systems.
• Focus area: transformation across finance and businessoperations (end-to-end process improvement, performance enablement, and technology execution), with significant client-facing ownership and delivery responsibility.
• Work model: remote-first (U.S.) with optional hybrid access to major office hubs for those who want it (team events, trainings, retreats, meet-ups)
• Compensation: competitive market base salary (depending on experience), plus annual bonus, overtime bonus structure, and long-term incentive/equity (RSUs) component at Manager level and above.
Overview of team structure, responsibilities and company highlights:
Team structure and growth environment:
• Join a specialized transformation team within a broader advisory platform (deep expertise + variety of client engagements)
• Direct exposure to senior leadership and subject matter experts; real runway for advancement in a firm known for promoting from within
• Partner/MD progression is a realistic path for consistent performers who want leadership and client ownership
Role scope:
• Lead transformation engagements that improve how finance operates day-to-day, from diagnostic and redesign through implementation support and sustained adoption
• Drive end-to-end improvements across core finance cycles including order-to-cash, record-to-report, and procure-to-pay to improve cash flow, cycle time, control, and visibility
• Modernize planning and performance management (FP&A) through better forecasting, reporting, analytics, and decision support that business leaders actively use
• Support finance technology initiatives including system assessment/selection, ERP and finance system implementation support, and program governance to ensure initiatives land successfully
• Build client-ready deliverables (assessment findings, operating model recommendations, process maps, roadmaps, business cases, KPI frameworks, and executive presentations)
• Lead workstreams with strong project management discipline across stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, risks, and quality control
• Mentor and develop junior talent; contribute to internal practice building through repeatable methods, templates, and thought leadership as you grow
Value proposition & caeer upside:
• Variety: broad exposure to finance transformation work across industries and client situations (not repetitive, cycle-only work)
• Impact: direct line of sight to outcomes such as improved working capital, faster close cycles, stronger reporting quality, and more scalable operating models
• Growth: accelerated development through ownership of workstreams and proximity to senior leaders and decision-makers
• Flexibility: remote-first delivery model with optional office/community connection if desired
• Upside: compensation structure designed to reward effort (overtime bonus) plus long-term incentive/equity opportunity
Qualifications:
• Relevant experience in finance transformation / advisory / consulting (or comparable industry transformation experience with meaningful scope and leadership)
• Experience leading workstreams in one or more areas such as order-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, FP&A, finance operating model, performance management, or finance systems/ERP enablement
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to guide stakeholders to decisions with clarity and credibility
• Project management skills: prioritization, multi-tasking, delivery under deadlines, and comfort operating in ambiguity
• Analytical and financial acumen with proficiency in Excel and the ability to develop clear, actionable insights
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members; interest in practice development is a plus
• CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required (strong, relevant advisory delivery experience is most important)
