Role Overview
We are seeking a Translation & Localization Expert to accurately translate and localize digital content for U.S. audiences. This role focuses on ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency across all translated materials.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate written content from source languages into clear, accurate U.S. English
• Localize content to ensure cultural and contextual relevance for U.S. users
• Review and edit translations for grammar, tone, and consistency
• Collaborate with content and product teams to meet localization standards
• Maintain terminology and style guidelines
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
• Proven experience in translation and localization
• Native or near-native fluency in English (U.S.)
• Strong attention to detail and language accuracy
• Familiarity with localization best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with digital content, websites, or apps is a plus
Compensation
$20 – $30 per hour, depending on experience and language pair
