Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records, including tracking and reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with periodic financial closings. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports • Reconcile accounts, such as bank statements and general ledgers • Prepare and analyze the general ledgers for multiple companies • Assist with budgeting and forecasting • Provide support and guidance to other members of the finance team • Support external auditors during annual audits • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines • CPA or similar certification a plus Sandridge Foods is located in Medina, Ohio and is a great place to work because we sincerely care about every employee, both personally and professionally.
