Job Description: We are seeking an experienced USPS Integration Specialist with a strong background in Informed Visibility (IV-MTR) and API integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with USPS systems, including implementing and optimizing IV-MTR to enhance our operational tracking and reporting capabilities. This role will involve integrating USPS data with our... direct mail platform for improved shipping and tracking. Key Responsibilities: Informed Visibility (IV-MTR) Integration: Design, develop, and implement integrations with USPS’s Informed Visibility (IV-MTR) system to provide near real-time mail tracking and reporting. USPS API Integration: Handle additional USPS API integrations such as Address Verification, Shipping Label Generation, Package Tracking, and Rate Calculation. Customization & Optimization: Customize and optimize IV-MTR and USPS integrations to align with specific business requirements. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve any issues related to USPS and IV-MTR integrations, ensuring seamless operation and data accuracy. Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all USPS and IV-MTR integration processes, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including development, project management, and operations, to ensure that integration projects meet business goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience with USPS API integrations, specifically Informed Visibility (IV-MTR), ACS, and related USPS services. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other web services protocols. Familiarity with IV-MTR data points, feeds, and reporting structures. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous and detail-oriented approach. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Project Management: Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other USPS services and APIs, such as Address Verification and Rate Calculation. Familiarity with other shipping carriers’ APIs (e.g., FedEx, UPS). Experience with e-commerce platforms or shipping/logistics systems.
