Job Description Job Description Description: VAN DRIVER ( non-CDL ) $20.00/hour to start - EASTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS Are you looking for something more than just a job? Do you want to feel rewarded by making a real difference? Riverside Industries, Inc. is actively seeking qualified non-CDL Van Drivers to join our dedicated team. Morning shifts have you picking up a van at our Easthampton lot and traveling to pick up participants at their homes to bring them to Riverside’s Day Program. The afternoon shifts have you bringing our participants back home after Day Program ends. This position is an integral role to Riverside Industries’ 55+ year old mission of empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live rich and full lives. Help start and end our clients’ day with a smile! Establish interpersonal relationships within the communities we serve – you can make a difference! Ideal candidates will be comfortable driving in all New England weather conditions. You must possess compassion, understanding and a willingness to be adaptable. The people that you work with will make you smile every day and enjoy the back-and-forth banter with some pretty cool folks who depend on you to get them to and from Riverside safely. Previous van driving experience is preferred but not required. Our well-maintained fleet of vans and transportation hub are in Easthampton, MA and our vans serve the entire Pioneer Valley area. There are additional physical requirements for this position in assisting our clients with safe entry, secure travel and exit vans, as needed. Shifts: · 20-hour split shift 6:30 –9:30am then 2:30pm – 5:30 pm M-F only · 10-hour morning shift 6:30 am– 9:30 am – M-F only AND/OR .10-hour afternoon shift 2:30 5:30 pm - M-F only * * pay minimal two hours per shift ** Requirements: Requirements: Must be 19 years or older with a valid Driver’s License Must be able to pass an RMV Record Check and have a minimum of 3 years of good driving experience Must be able to pass a pre-employment CORI, SORI, Drug Screen (including marijuana), Physical Exam, and Fingerprinting
