Company Associated Veterinary Partners Location: Remote Reports to: Director of Integrations or Director of Operations Position Summary: The Veterinary Integrations and Training Specialist plays a key role in successfully onboarding veterinary practices into our organization. This position ensures a seamless transition for new partner clinics by coordinating operational, clinical, and administrative processes. Focuses on developing leadership, operations, compliance, and employee engagement capabilities across our veterinary hospitals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of veterinary practice operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for new veterinary practices during the integration process. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the integration timeline, including pre-close, day-one, and post-close activities. Facilitate alignment with internal departments (HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure proper onboarding and support. Conduct site visits and virtual meetings to assess clinic needs and ensure readiness for integration. Educate practice teams on new systems, processes, and resources available post-integration. Monitor integration progress, track milestones, and report on key metrics. Identify potential challenges or barriers and develop action plans to resolve issues quickly. Design and deliver leadership and management training programs for veterinary hospital managers and supervisors. Facilitate onboarding sessions and continued development plans for new and existing managers. Develop training resources related to practice management, team leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and operational efficiency. Support training and change management efforts to ensure cultural alignment and smooth transition. Preferred Skills: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or relevant veterinary background is a plus. Experience with veterinary practice management systems (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, ezyVet). Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Veterinary Technology, or related field (required). Experience in developing adult learning content and delivering live and virtual training. 5+ years of experience in veterinary operations, project management, or practice management. Experience in veterinary consolidations or multi-site operations preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to travel regularly to veterinary practices as needed 50%-75%. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
